23rd March 2011 and three wins and a draw see IAG FC into second spot...

The middle of the season saw teams playing four matches against two of their opponents, IAG being matched up with North Manchester Rangers and Salford Grassroots West. They began with a tenses 0-0 draw against the Manchester side with opportunities for both to take the points. Salford Grassroots West were then despatched 3-1 with goals from Mitch Burdett (2) and Andy Mulley which also saw a good performance from goalie Chris Charlton, playing with a back injury. IAG then ran riot in the return against North Manchester, crushing their rivals 8-0.

Burdett had a field day scoring four with the rest from Chris Tipton via a penalty, two from loanees Steve Sumner and Ben Garfett and an own goal. The tightest game of the day saw the Macclesfield outfit scrape home with the last kick of the match to record a 3-2 win in the return versus Salford. Scorers here were Burdett with a brace and Garfett. The days' efforts and results elsewhere saw IAG overtake New Way Forward and claim second place on goal difference, at least until the next round of games are played.
